For personal needs:
New or second summer  weight clothing in good condition for boys and girls aged from birth to 5 years. Maximum size Australian ‘5′, towels, single bed sheets, pillowcases. Baby shampoo, soap, baby talcum powder, heat-rash powder, disposable nappies, infant toothpaste, soft bristle toothbrushes, nail brushes, hair brushes, babies bottles, formula milk powder, baby harnesses for carrying babies on your front, padded playmates, prams, walkers, portable cots, car restraints for infants.  For health reasons please ensure all toiletries are new.

** Please do not bring second hand foot wear for health reasons.  Knitted woolen clothing is too hot for Thailand **

For education:
Pencils, pens, texta colors, crayons, pencil sharpeners, rulers, paints and paint brushes, palletes, colored paper for collage, sticky tape, coloring in books, construction materials e.g.: Lego, padded play mats, musical instruments suitable for very young children, educational toys for babies and infants.

For sport:
Soccer balls, basketballs, plastic bats and balls, exercise mats, caps, sports clothing and running shoes, play equipment.

For entertainment:
Simple jigsaw puzzles and games. Children’s CD’S, posters of cartoon characters etc. Thai DVD discs for young children (ie Bananas in Pajamas) clean, washed soft toys.

Please do not donate unwashed soft toys.  Soft toys can spread bacteria, parasites and disease.  Many children who arrive suffering malnutrition and poor health can easily become infected playing with an unwashed, second hand soft toy.  

For medical needs:
Dettol, fabric bandaids, cotton wool, Savlon or antiseptic creams and swabs, bandages (all types), saline, tweezers, eye wash cups, aloe vera gel, aeroguard or Rid, cotton blankets

For the staff:
A4 paper, envelopes, pens, highlighters, calculators,computer software, glue sticks, sticky tape, post its, clipboards, manila folders, clipboards, photo albums, staplers and staples, plastic envelopes, rubber bands, mailing labels, plastic wallets, paper card, photograph albums, color printers, scanners, digital camera, computers. (Best to buy locally as due value Customs may be and issue.  A good second hand lap top is fine to bring in as Customs will assume it is for your own personal use during your stay in Thailand.)

For cooking:
Pots, saucepans, frypans, baking dishes, colanders, conical strainers, fine mesh skimmers, ladles, basting spoons, dough scrapers, tongs, meat tenderizers, wooden spoons, potato mashers, rubber spatulas, rolling pins, pastry brushes, cutter sets, loose base spring form tins, hand mixers, food processors, rice cookers, cutlery, crockery, (Melamine ideal) cups, large teapots, large kettles

For cleaning:
Ajax powder, Mr Sheen, Windex, washing powder, dishwashing liquid, antiseptic, collar spray, scourers, kitchen sponges, mop heads, broom heads, dustpans and broom.

Food:
Infant formula ages one to five, rice, sugar, salt, noodles, cooking oil, milk powder, biscuits, fruit and vegetables.

Heavier items such as washing powder, antiseptic can be purchased locally and is usually 40 to 50% cheaper than Australian prices but remains out of reach for many orphanages.  Buy food locally at supermarkets such as Macro, Carre Four or Big C.
